    Shoe Update

So apparently I have this between my 4th and 5th metatarsals on the left foot which means no running for a week.  Bum out?  Yes.  But, the doctor said I’m lucky I came in early because had I been stubborn (me??) and kept running it would have been a lot worse. But what’s worse than not running… she said no yoga either!  I get to swim, so that’s what I’ll be doing for a little bit.

Sometimes I like these moments when the body says, “stop.”  I love the re-building, the re-focus and the rest that it forces me to take.  I also get to purchase lots of new running shoes that fit me correctly so we avoid this problem in the future!

14 marathons in and I’m still learning.
